American literary giant the late John Updike in conversation with British writer and Booker prize winner Ian McEwan. Updike gives his news on American life and unique insight into the way his stories developed over a 54-book career. This reflected the seismic changes in America, in terms of sex and adultery, the family, God and the increasing segregation between rich and poor.
